*Around six years later*
‘I can’t believe how life has changed for both of us in these past few years,’ Solania said as she sipped on her hot chocolate. I smiled as I saw the chocolate moustache on her face.
I leaned over and cleaned it for her, causing her to giggle. ‘You can definitely say that again,’ I said as I turned to look at my two kids who were happily eating their cupcakes.
Minho was now five years old and he was already a spitting image with Taehyung. He had the same boxy smile that I adored so much. He had light brown hair that seemed to have golden streaks in it, especially if you looked at it when the sun was shining bright. His face was a little chubby but it still held attention, just like his father.
Soraya was only three years old, but she was also a spitting image with her father Yoongi. She had the exact same gummy smile that Yoongi always made sure to be on display, especially around her. She had long, black hair that was the exact copy of mine as well as my nose.
Their characters were pretty different too. Minho was energetic and hyper but still obedient. Soraya was calmer and smart, even at only three, but a little cheekier than her brother. She definitely knew how to spin her father around her little finger.
Minho was already showing signs of his wolf side. He had a hot temper but never hurt anyone, in fact, he was rather protective. Taehyung worried that he would have Alpha tendencies but the others as well as myself reassured him that we can bring him up better than he ever was brought up. Soraya hasn’t shown many signs so far but the gut feeling in my stomach insisted that she was like me – a witch.
The two of them sometimes fought but Minho had a soft spot for his sister. He absolutely adored her and he was always protecting her. He kept her from falling, his fast instincts always coming into play. If she did fall, he was there to dry her tears and kiss her “booboo” away. He held her hand and glared at anyone who he thought was a threat to her. He was the perfect big brother anyone could wish for and I knew that if we had any more kids, he would be like that will all of them, even if Soraya would always have a special place in his heart.
‘Yah! Are you listening to me?’ Solania yelled. I blinked my eyes and looked at her, a smile on my face.
‘Sorry. I got lost thinking about them. Goddess, they changed our lives so much Sol. You’ll see when you give birth to your own precious angel,’ I said as I pointed to her belly.
She giggled and touched it. She had gotten married but unfortunately, they had faced infertility issues in the beginning of their marriage. It took them a couple of years, a miscarriage and IVF treatment to finally be blessed with this pregnancy.
‘She’s definitely our miracle baby,’ Solania said. ‘Ryan is absolutely all over the clouds but he tends to get very protective,’ she said while rolling her eyes.
‘That is pretty normal and to be expected Sol, trust me. Can you imagine how mine where? Especially with the wolf instincts playing in?’ I said while giggling.
They had definitely taken the word protective on a whole new level. If they could, they would pee and poop for me too. There was always someone with me, never daring to leave me alone for a second. Walks in the woods were a bit of a danger zone because of all the what ifs.
Still, it was something beautiful to experience. Even though biologically, the kids are Tae’s and Yoongi’s, they all love them in the same way. Jin and Yoongi were constantly taking care of my diet and Jungkook was always carrying stuff for me. Jimin and Taehyung always were super cuddly, not wanting to let go of me. Namjoon was constantly reading and researching while Hoseok was always finding new music to play for our babies.
‘I can’t blame them Alina. You’ve gone through some horrible things in your life and it’s only fair that they get protective. Who knows who you’ll meet,’ Solania said and I nodded.
‘Yeah I know. Thing is, after that vampire incident six years ago, they got even more protective. It left a scar in all of them,’ I said.
‘You were really close to dying Alina. I would be scarred too if I was in their position,’ she said.
‘I know. I’m just glad things worked out in the end. I never imagined it was possible, to reverse a transition,’ I said.
‘Maybe it’s because you’re like them too. I don’t know exactly how your world works,’ Solania said with a chuckle. ‘Your pack grew even more after that right?’ she asked.
‘Oh definitely. I ended up buying more land so that we could secure the area. We basically own the whole woods there. The boys, kids and I live in the main house but all the others live in the surrounding ones. It’s like we’re in our own little small village, but yeah, there are over fifty wolves now,’ I explained.
After we had gotten rid of those vampires, things had changed a bit. We had come across more werewolves or ones who came to us. Our pack welcomed any wolf unless it was a threat to anyone in our pack.
‘Daebak, I still can’t believe it sometimes. If I had not seen it with my own eyes, I would not have believed you. I mean witches and warlocks and, and wolves and fairies and vampires. Come on, these were stories I read about and fantasized and wrote fanfiction about,’ Solania said, giggling to herself.
‘I know what you mean. Do you know when I was young I used to write fanfiction about our kind? Everyone used to like it for the detail and how real it felt. Imagine if they knew it was actually true!’ I said, laughing.
‘Mama? Can you help me please?’ Minho called as I turned to look at my sweet little boy.
‘Yes sweetie?’ I asked as I offered him a gentle smile. He had his face covered with chocolate from the cupcake, which made me laugh. I grabbed a napkin and wiped at his face. ‘You’re such an adorably messy eater my munchkin,’ I said as I kissed his head.
‘Mama!! ME TOO!!’ Soraya yelled, making me laugh. I turned to her and gave her a kiss as well.
‘Of course mama has endless kisses for you both,’ I said.
‘And Appas too,’ Minho said cheekily. I heard Solania laugh while I nodded.
‘Of course. Appas deserve all the kisses and hugs of the world. Right my precious boy?’ I asked with a wink to which he cutely laughed and nodded at the same time.
I kept looking at them when my phone vibrated. I took out my phone and smiled at the text. ‘Your boys?’ Solania asked and I nodded. ‘They’re so whipped for you and you for them,’ she said, chuckling.
‘I won’t even deny it,’ I said with a shrug as I read the messages.
Jiminie: Hey princess… I hope you’re having fun but when are you coming home?
Jiminie: We miss you and our little munchkins.
Jiminie: We can’t wait to cuddle our babies!
Alina: I’ll finish this drink and come home.
Alina: Can’t wait to cuddle with you too.
Alina: I love you!! <3

‘That was Jimin, asking when we’re going home because they miss us, but most likely the others were just next to him, pushing him to send the message,’ I said laughing.
‘Well, Ryan is texting me too to see if he should pick me up. He doesn’t want me walking or driving or going on the bus “in this condition”,’ she said, mimicking him.
‘He’s just looking out for you,’ I said. ‘Come on, finish your drink. I’ll pay the bill and we can get going,’ I said to which she nodded.
‘Mama can we play some music?’ Minho asked from his car seat as I drove back home. I looked at the kids from the mirror, both of them smiling widely while sitting on their respective car seat.
‘Sure thing sweetie,’ I said as I switched on the radio. ‘Heartbeat’ by Suran started playing. I immediately smiled while Minho and Soraya started clapping their hands,
‘YAY!! Mama loves song!’ Soraya squealed while Minho started to sing along.
‘That’s right baby. Eomma loves this song,’ I said with a laugh as I sang as well. The song finished, only to be followed by a Kelly Clarkson song.
‘Oh Mama loves this singer a lot too!’ I said to which they just clapped their hands. I smiled as I hummed along and focused on my driving.
‘We’re home!!’ I yelled from the parking lot just as the door opened and seven wolves came rushing out.
‘Ahh finally!!’ Namjoon said as they all approached. I watched as Taehyung and Yoongi took out Minho and Soraya from the car, both of who had fallen asleep after the karaoke.
‘Seems like you guys missed us,’ I said as I took out the box full of doughnuts.
‘You have no idea babe,’ Taehyung said as he looked at his son. ‘Seems like the kids enjoyed their day out,’ he said.
‘They did. They also loved stuffing their face in the cupcake,’ I said.
‘They certainly have an appetite like us,’ Jin commented, laughing. ‘I see you brought doughnuts too,’ he said as we began to walk back inside.
‘I did. I brought two for everyone,’ I said as Jungkook took the box from me.
‘You’re the best jagiya,’ Jungkook said as he gave me a kiss on the cheek. I just smiled as we entered the kitchen.
‘We’ll be right back. We’re just going to put the kids in their room,’ Yoongi said while I nodded. Hoseok helped me to take off the jacket while Jin put on the kettle.
‘How’s Solania doing? How’s her pregnancy going?’ Namjoon asked as he rested against the counter.
‘Really well. She’s actually due in two months,’ I said excitedly. They all smiled as well and I knew they were truly happy for her. Solania had become their friend too as has her husband.
‘I wish you could see her more often. You always come back with a smile when you meet her,’ Jimin said.
‘She’ll always be my first and best friend I guess,’ I said with a shrug. ‘We have a lot of stories that happened through the years of knowing one another,’ I said.
‘Maybe we could invite them to spend like a week or so in that cabin by the lake,’ Jungkook said.
‘Minho and Soraya would definitely love to play with their baby,’ Jimin said.
‘I think the baby would be too small to play with them love,’ I said to which he rolled his eyes. ‘But yeah, it does sound like a good idea. Maybe Christmas time,’ I said.
‘It might even snow. It would definitely give them a view different from the city,’ Namjoon said while I nodded.
I heard footsteps and I turned my head towards Taehyung and Yoongi who were smiling. ‘Did they manage to stay asleep?’ I asked.
‘Soraya did. She’s exactly like me when it comes to sleep,’ Yoongi said with a chuckle as he came close to me and gave me a quick peck.
‘Minho just woke up slightly, so we changed into pajamas. I tucked him in but he’s asleep,’ Taehyung said while I nodded.
‘It’s still early. Do you guys want to set up the living room so we can watch a movie together and stuff our faces with doughnuts?’ I asked.
‘Fabulous idea princess,’ Jimin said.
‘I call dibs on cuddles,’ Taehyung yelled quickly, before anyone else could. I laughed loudly as some of the others glared at him.
‘You gorgeous boys can share me,’ I said with a shrug as I stood up and grabbed the box of doughnuts.
‘I’ll bring tea for everyone. Go set up the living room,’ Jin directed the others. I watched as all the others except for Yoongi took off in a hurried pace. I chuckled to myself as I shook my head.
‘We’re a crazy bunch, aren’t we?’ I asked. Jin laughed while Yoongi simply nodded.
‘Yeah, fore sure, but that’s what makes this family work. It’s what makes all of us love it,’ Yoongi said.
‘That’s true. I wouldn’t change it for the world,’ Jin added.
‘Although some more pups does sound nice,’ Yoongi said. I smiled but even though we’ve been together for eight years, I still blushed.
‘Aish why are you so cute?’ Jin commented as he took off the kettle and poured into the mugs of tea.
‘Because she’s our princess. No matter how many years pass, she’ll always be our little baby girl,’ Yoongi said, making me blush even harder.
